How have you been? I wish you've been good all the time.
So, now I'm going to share about my Internship at Asia Pulp & Paper(APP) as an Employee Relations for four months last year (August-November 2019).
First of all, my College which is Multimedia Nusantara University require their student to take an Internship minimum three months on seventh semester of college. Of course, the purpose is to preparing their student to face the real world (😆hehe, I mean professional world).
So, praise God, I had the opportunity to be an Intern at APP. In that time, they needed an Intern to helped them reframe their Linkedin and Website. As, communications student, I've learned and got the ability to make strategic planning about social media planning and how to implement it. All of the works that I implemented I got from Digital Strategic Planning and Media Production courses.
As a communications student, we have been provided basic of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for design on our third semester of college. So, it didn't really hard for me to do what they want when they need it. The hard challenge for me is I had to learned Adobe After Effect, which is I never learned that program from my college before. But, I do really thankful because of that urgency, I know how to use that program (a bit hehe), also I am a prokopton (progressor) it means, someone who eager to learn.
Shortly, for the big picture, my job description while being their intern are prepare Employer activities include their internal events, and work closely with Global Corporate Communications in terms of creating content, mainly to support Employer Branding.

Okay, what have shown above are some of my design for Internal Events. Now, I'll show you how I usually do my Strategic Planning. Here are some steps to do:
Research help us to determine the effective step to take. From research we got data. By data, we know what they wants and needs the most. For example, case in Linkedin, people now searching for a good company to work. What is a "good company" meaning for? let say, data showed that environment is one of the important thing to built loyalty. So, we can show our excellent employee's testimony statement about our company. Some tools that we can use to analyze are Google Keyword Planner & Trends, Facebook & Instagram Insight, or Interview.
After knowing what is the best step to take, we have to make a strategic planning. From the case Linkedin above, we need to figure out when is the best time to upload. Of course, for the best result we have to make a sustainable plan to built a favorable public image for company. Source, caption, design to post are things to prepared on this stage. Timeline helps us to upload the content consistently.
In this stage, you have to upload the content as you planned before. Date and time as written. Make sure no typo or 'miss' information. It just make company doesn't look professional.
Finish line, after implementing the content that we build we need to know how far we reach the awareness until actions that people do. How successful the strategic planned that we have made and what things need to be fixed in the future. Tools that we can use such as Facebook & Instagram Ads Report, Google Ads Report, Google Analytics and so on.
Last but not least, the people inside APP were really helpful and their willingness to be my mentor at every situation got me learn many things about corporation. Especially many thanks for Edwin Rahardjo, Putu Ayu Adiesty, and Heriyanto, I do really appreciate you guys as my supervisor.
